Winner Tour Sikorsky Hawk Works in Big Flats

Assemblyman Tom O’Mara (R,I,C-Big Flats) and Senator George Winner (R,C,I- 53rd District) recently toured the Sikorsky Hawk Works plant in Big Flats.  Assemblyman O’Mara and Senator Winner helped secure state incentives that were coupled with Chemung County Industrial Development Agency incentives for the plant’s expansion for the manufacturing of Black Hawk helicopters.  The expansion has allowed Sikorsky to create over 700 new jobs.  Sikorsky is currently looking at expanding the plant’s operations, which will help create additional good-paying jobs and strengthen the regional economy.
